Meet the Owner & Founder of Evlove

My passion for living a healthy and happy lifestyle led me to become a certified ELDOA Specialist & Trainer.

Ryan is the Owner and Founder of Evolve: Longevity & Performance. Growing up in the small town of Willows, CA, the community has always been a part of Ryan’s life. He began athletics and was passionate about helping others as a young man, as he participated in every sport imaginable through High School. He continued on to Chico State, where he found his love for Exercise and the Science behind it, finishing with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Since graduating, Ryan has had the incredible opportunity to learn from world-renowned Doctors Jose Palomar (orthopedic surgery and functional neurology) and Guy Voyer (Osteopathy and ELDOA), learning various new age techniques to train and heal the body. He is now an Advanced Practitioner in P-DTR (Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex, Dr. Palomar’s technique) and a certified ELDOA practitioner (Dr. Voyer’s technique) while continuing along with Dr. Voyer’s total osteopathic technique (these techniques are explained in more detail throughout the website). Ryan continues to learn, adapting his practice accordingly, and loves to work with his clients. Ryan has been working in the health and fitness world for 10+ years, owning his own business for 6+. He decided to open his own studio, and Evolve was born in September 2022. He looks forward to continuing to help his clients and the community in any way he can.

Last year I was suffering from a frozen shoulder. I had tried Physical Therapy and acupuncture weekly but my range of motion in my shoulder would not budge. After almost 9 months of therapy I came to Ryan, At my first visit he got my shoulders range of motion to about 80 percent! I couldn't believe I had actually found something that was helping. I got pretty emotional at that visit and even teared up. By the next visit, my range of motion was even better. What impressed me about the therapy was that I only saw him for about 4 visits. I have been so used to going to other therapies weekly for months. I am hyper-mobile and have severe stenosis in my neck and low back. I have returned to Ryan for issues that arise and each time have felt much improvement. I Highly recommend Ryan and P-DTR therapy.

P-DTR Client

After giving birth to two beautiful big babies (10.11oz) & (9.7oz) to be exact, my abdomen was left weak and separated (Diastasis Recti), I struggled to do the simplest exercises. I've always been an avid yoga & pilates lover but was struggling to bge in a group setting. I found what used to be easy exercises became very challenging. I saw a physical therapist that helped with pelvic floor issues and it was determined that I might have to undergo surgery to correct my diastasis. I was determined to get my core and strength back and not have surgery. I happened to meet Ryan randomly and we started chatting about his profession and area of expertise. I casually and sarcastically mentioned that I needed to find a trainer with his knowledge vs continuing work with a physical therapist that wasn't seeming to make progress. Ryan took me on as a client, and I couldn't be more grateful. We have managed to close the largest area of separation and I am now doing exercises I never thought possible.

I can't recommend my personal trainer enough! As someone with a spinal cord injury, I am always cautious when I work out, but Ryan has been incredibly attentive and supportive every step of the way. He takes my injury into consideration when planning my workouts and makes adjustments as needed to ensure that I can exercise safely and effectively. The small group size is also a huge plus - it's great to have personalized attention while still getting the camaraderie of a group. Ryan's dedication to lifelong learning is evident and I trust he'll continue to help me with my pursuit of health and wellness.
